After church last Sunday, our ABF class had our annual Easter Egg Hunt. It had been a few years since we had gone. I realized after talking to Meg about what we were going to do, that she didn't even remember what an egg hunt was! No worries, she got the hang of it right away!
It was cold and windy that day (now mind you, this was the Sunday AFTER the Rangers Game in my previous post...that day that was so sunny and hot?!). I guess that's Texas weather for you! So rather than have a picnic together after church at the park, we all huddled in our cars eating our lunch while the daddies went out and hid all of the eggs.
And then they were OFF!
Emily thought she had better bring along her Webkin poodle "Chi-Chi". Notice Mema's metallic link purse she's carrying her in!
The girls were quite happy with their finds! Emily was one of the lucky ones who found an egg with $$ inside. But that didn't bother Meg...she was very satisfied with her chocolate!
It really is a beautiful park! But as soon as all the eggs were accounted for, we all hustled back to our cars to get out of the cold wind! However, that didn't stop us from this quick photo op on the rustic bridge at Bear Creek Park...
