Fall Fun

Here's a look at the fun we've been having celebrating fall this year!

The girls designed their own faces and Daddy cut them out.

Grandma (Dan's mom) came for a visit last week! It was such a special treat, and we enjoyed our time with her so much! Thankfully, Christmas is just 51 more days away and we'll get to see both of our families then! : )

This year the girls decided not to dress up, but to have their faces painted! It was my first try at face painting, but I was pretty pleased with the results!

And Emily wanted a butterfly!

We finished our look off with colored hairspray and glitter spray! Boy, did we sparkle! : )

It was so much fun to take Grandma with us to Light Up the Night at our church! Each year our church holds a community outreach event on or around Halloween. It's a fun and safe way to celebrate fall, as we hold a carnival of sorts on our football field. This year we had over 3,000 people join us at Light Up the Night!

The fun with Grandma continued on Saturday! After a day playing games at Chuck E Cheese, we watched Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D!
