Christmas Piano Recital!

Last night was Emily and Meg's Christmas piano recital! Each child played one Christmas song and one of their favorite piano pieces they had learned all semester. This recital was Meg's very first. She was a little nervous because her Christmas piece had a tricky part she kept getting stuck on, but she played it perfectly at the recital! Grace under pressure! ; )

Emily actually got to play two Christmas songs this year....one a solo and the other a duet with her good friend, Alexis. She is learning so much and improving at each recital!

Emily & Alexis have been practicing and practicing together for weeks now! They really sound great together! It's a challenge to play together, because if one makes even the tiniest of mistakes, it can throw the other off. But all their hard work practicing paid off! If you didn't know it was a duet, you'd think it was just one person playing! It was beautiful!
