We were so proud! Last Thursday night, Emily was honored to have one of her art pieces chosen by her art teacher, Mr. Vanderveer, to represent her school at the District Art Show! Earlier in the year, she had drawn this "Half Face" in art class using pencil. They had been given half of a face and were instructed to draw the other half to complete the face. It was displayed on the wall of the administration building, along with other works from every school in the district.
Our Emily loves arts and crafts! She is always wanting to make something to express her creativity. She did a fantastic job, if I do say so myself! She was especially proud to be able to share this special evening with Mimi & Papa, who were in town for a visit!
