Happy 12th Anniversary!

Last weekend, Dan and I celebrated our 12th anniversary! We were blessed to have Mom & Dad in town and agree to stay a little longer to keep the girls for us while we went to San Antonio to celebrate! This was our first "trip" alone since the girls were born. To say the least, we were VERY excited!

It was a fabulous weekend, though not very relaxing! We went, went, went all weekend...getting in as much non-kid stuff as possible! I enjoyed taking WAY too many pictures of everything we saw.....it was all so very beautiful and picturesque. On Saturday, we toured the Alamo, had lunch on the Riverwalk, took a trolley to the Mission San Jose and King William Street, took a short nap, then had dinner on a riverboat, and finally, enjoyed live jazz late into the evening.

Saturday:

On Sunday, we went shopping in Market Square for souvenirs for the girls, had authentic Mexican food for lunch at Mi Terra, enjoyed the Japanese Tea Garden, Mission Concepcion, rode to the top of the Tower of the Americas to see the city, then took an incredibly long time to get home via Continental!

Saturday Evening and Sunday:

We were so glad to get back home to see the girls, but are very thankful for the sweet time we got away to celebrate twelve years together.
