I found a blog this week, written by missionaries in Haiti. They have been updating it often with very specific prayer requests for the gigantic task that God has given them at this time with the recent earthquake there. I wanted to share it so that you could know specifically how to pray for the people there, the people they encounter specifically, and for them as they tirelessly minister to them. It is my understanding that they have a clinic (or had before the quake) and just today, additional team memebers arrived with supplies to help set up a medical station to help the wounded.
This is their prayer today:
Lord -We need you. Help the people of Haiti. Help them see pieces of hope in this nightmare. Help us connect with people on a personal level. Help us know what it is they need from you today and guide each person on this island that is attempting to be love today. Amen.
Please visit the site as often as you are able and pray for Troy and Tara, their team, and the Haitian people every time the Lord brings them to your mind.
